Can Botox be a preventative treatment?
- Its is recommend using Botox as a preventive measure to delay fine lines from developing any age after 18 years old.
How long does it take to notice neurotoxin results?
- Neurotoxins takes about 3-10 days depending on the clients response. Some slight swelling and very small bruising might accuse but highly unlikely.
-Fillers initially swell and will take about two weeks to see the final results,
How long do the Neurotoxin and dermal filler results last?
- Neurotoxins usually lasts 3 to 4 months. We recommend coming every three months to achieve the best results from treatment.
- Fillers vary by product selected. Expect results to be seen within two weeks and last about 9-12 months.
What are the side effects of cosmetic injections?
- Cosmetic injection treatments, including dermal fillers and Botox, have potential side effects. Ask your consultant, since side effects may vary depending on which injection(s) you may receive. The most common side effects are swelling, bruising and minimal soreness for the first few days.
What is the difference between dermal fillers and Botox?
- Dermal fillers help restore the look of fullness that is common in youth. Botox prevents the flexing of muscles that eventually cause wrinkles and folds.
Will this hurt?
- Minimal, topical anesthetic will be applied and all dermal fillers are mixed with lidocaine a local anesthetic that will work by numbing the area.
What to avoid before injections?
- Avoid taking aspirin, ibuprofen, naproxen or any non-steroidal anti-inflamatory medications, for at least two weeks before injections, this will reduce the chance of brushing and bleeding.
